Scalable, portable, fast!
The real-time operating system EUROS, multi-processor capable and POSIX compliant is the flagship of the EUROS family of real-time operating systems. Build around a microkernel architecture it is characterized by a modular design, short response times, compactness, robustness and flexibility.
The EUROS RTOS is based on a comprehensive Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), which guarantees the portability of applications build on top of it. When required the system software can be extended by additional components like file systems, middleware, graphics as well as protocol stacks, including USB, TCP/IP, CANopen, Modbus, OPC UA, etc. Furthermore, generalized device drivers provided for each device class like serial, SPI, I2C, DMA, USB, etc. facilitate the porting of an application to a different microcontroller type. Due to its high level of hardware-independence, the customization of EUROS RTOS is a mere formality.
