QEMU
QEMU („Quick Emulator") is an open source versatile system emulator running under the major desktop operating systems like Windows or Linux and providing fast and robust virtualization for different embedded targets.
EUROS Embedded Studio provides seamless integration with it and makes possible to debug and verify applications without even having a physical embedded device. This integration is helpful for proof of concept of an application as well as for test and analysis of complex – and even non-existing - hardware platforms.
QEMU can emulate among others the following CPU architectures: x86, x86_64, ColdFire V2, PowerPC, MIPS, ARM7, ARM9, ARM11, Cortex M3, Cortex A8, OMAP310, OMAP2420, etc.
