Graphics Libraries
EUROS offers several scalable graphics libraries, which besides the basic graphics functions provide also such functions as issuing TrueType fonts, loading bitmaps of different sizes, edge smoothing, a Windows "look and feel", integrated message handling and pre-defined control elements. The graphic interface implements a hardware-independent API for driving LCD displays and monitors. The associated driver packages for many graphics controllers are also part of the graphics libraries. The graphic controllers are accessed in a unified manner as virtual devices. Thus, graphical applications such as visualization tasks can be add seamlessly into a real-time environment.
