EUROS Embedded Systems GmbH is a specialist in the field of embedded software and offers a lot of high-quality products.
For nearly 20 years we successfully support companies in different industrial sectors as medical technology, measurement-, automation-, communication-, traffic-engineering and automotive.
As employee of Siemens (Ottobrunn in Munich), Dr. Kaneff, founder and CEO of EUROS Embedded Systems GmbH, took part in developing the first real time operating system of Siemens for the 8 bit micro-processors 8080/8085 in the end of the 70s. At that time it was the first and the only development in its own way in Germany. Later a 16 Bit version of the operating system for the x86 processor family followed. Currently this operating system, well-known as RMOS, operates many devices of Siemens and their customers. Dr. Kaneff engaged in an US company for realtime operating systems from 1983 to 1987. There he was part of the team developing the real operating system MTOS/UX.
In 1987 the company was founded as Ingenieurbuero Dr. Kaneff in Nuremberg. It focused on the development of the real-time operating system EUROS. Later, the portfolio was extended by a further real time operating system and development tools. To enlarge the team of developers an office in Bulgaria, EUROS Bulgaria Ltd., was founded in 2000. Two years later the name of the Ingenieurbuero Dr. Kaneff was changed to EUROS GmbH. Now EUROS maintains a lot of partnerships to universities in Germany and other countries.

EUROS
EUROS is an exceedingly powerful real-time operating system that is suited for any purpose. We have been concentrating on its development for almost 20 years.Thanks to many portings EUROS can be run on nearly all current 16 bit and 32 bit processors - it does not make any difference whether on low cost micro-controllors or on powerful high-end systems. This flexibility guarantees that your EUROS applications will be able to run on future systems. A special advantage of EUROS: The large amount of existing drivers and components will make sure that development time will be short and low cost. Applications with integrated remote diagnostics or web-server will be realized with no time at all.
EUROSmot
As an alternative to EUROS we offer the static real time operating system EUROSmot, especially designed for automotive applications. It supports the OSEK API in different conformance classes. Configuration tools support the development of applications by different methods like object definition with a graphical interface and with consistency check mechanism. Similar to EUROS, EUROSmot is available for a couple of CPU architectures and can be flexibly adapted to the resources of the hardware.
EUROScope
The high level language debugger EUROScope comes (in addition to common functions of a debugger) with some special features that makes testing and finding errors in EUROS applications easy: for example, you can record events during program execution and display them in a diagram EUROS-objects, another Plug-In, enables you to visualize status information of EUROS system objects.EUROScope is a low-cost and efficient solution that offers powerful debugging mechanisms without the need of an emulator.The integrated flash tool allows you to directly program your application into the flash memory of the board.
EUROSkit
EUROSkit is a new cross development environment that is exceedingly suited for the development of EUROS and EUROSmot applications.An integrated application assistant creates a framework for an EUROS application in no time at all. Thanks to the comfortable project management you can organize projects clearly. Additional features as showing function prototypes in a tooltip window, syntax highlighting or the integrated help system for the EUROS API ease the development of applications considerably.
